Dear Frank!
We hope that you enjoyed your stay in Spain and that you’re healthy and fine.
We regret that we didn’t get the chance to say goodbye to you properly. When we couldn’t find you in in your bedroom in the morning, we went downstairs into the pub to look for you. You were nowhere to be found, so we left a note with our addresses in case you would like to come and visit us.
Suddenly the alarm went off, and we didn’t know what to do. As we had to catch the train we couldn’t wait for you. We are awfully sorry if we caused you any trouble.
However, despite of that accident, we are fine. We miss London a lot though, and can’t wait to get back. In fact, I (A) am thinking of moving to London i January as I will be able to write my p.e. abroad. Unfortunately, Elvira can’t come along as she must continue her studies at home. She’ll come and visit me though.
We intended to write to you sooner, we thought that maybe you wanted an explanation to our dramatic departure. When we got back to Stockholm we actually phoned the operator i London to get your number, but neither Devonshire Arms nor your name were registered.
We will enclose some pictures, you look really good with those lightbulbs, don’t you think?
Lots of love, A and Elvira
